As a Spruce Mountain Ranch videographer
We first talked to Lacy and her family at the Wine & Nosh Bridal Show. It was in January 2020, before you-know-what happened. Shortly before the couture bridal show ended, I (Casey) ended up chatting with Lacy’s dad and brother. While she and her mom used the restroom (conveniently located right behind our booth), I struck up a conversation with her dad and brother because attached me in a baby carrier was our then 3 month old, Eddie. We talked about how Lacy and her brother were used to such environments. They grew up behind similar booths while they traveled with their parents’ company to various agricultural trade shows.
Fast forward a tid bit…
Lacy reached out to us in late August about being their Spruce Mountain Ranch videographer. Because 2020 was so… challenging, so many couples grappled with whether or not they should or shouldn’t proceed with their wedding. I have so much respect for couples getting married nowadays. But add in a global pandemic, and you’ll get all the gold stars and high-fives from us. In the end, Josh and Lacy decided to move forward with their wedding, and we’re so glad they did. The county that Spruce Mountain Ranch is in lifted restrictions on gatherings. Not everyone could be there to celebrate with Lacy and Josh, but the family and friends that were present had an incredible time. And Michael got to capture it!
To toot my husband’s horn, I love how the final video turned out. The bride and groom’s were pure love and full of incredible sentiment. Their connection was so evident in how they looked at each other. If you don’t believe us, just click below to watch the video 🙂
