Hey! Hi! Hello!
Casey here posting this Deer Creek Valley engagement session. It has been a hot minute since we’ve done some blogging here, but we are back at it! I wanted to start back with Abby and Quintin. They found us through their amazing wedding planner, Wanda Bonner of Blue Linden Weddings. Michael and I have known Wanda since moving back here to Colorado many moons ago. She has referred so many incredible couples our way, and we are SO grateful for her!
Abby and Quintin’s booking process looked a lot different that previous years due to COVID. Instead of meeting over coffee, we did the new-age, classic Zoom call and hit it off right away! They are so down to earth and easy going, while still knowing what they are looking for in their wedding day. One thing that I loved about them was that they wanted to do two engagement sessions. Their first a Deer Creek Valley Ranch engagement session, their wedding venue. And their second engagement session would be at their old high school. This hit home with Michael and I since we, ourselves, are also high school sweethearts! So sweet!
Deer Creek Valley Ranch is such a stunning place to get your photos taken, or get married.
Located in Bailey, Colorado, the ranch is nestled in a valley of gorgeous mountains, aspen and pine tree, and its complete with its own herd of horses. Abby and Quintin chose fall as the season for their Deer Creek Valley Ranch engagement session, and rightly so. The colors, the sky transformation, and the scenery are what dreams are made of. Add in their sweet pup, Delphi, and you basically get perfect engagement photos! A quick shoutout to the couple’s parents who helped with Delphi when she wasn’t stealing the spotlight in the photos. Head to our Instagram for some of my favorite Delphi photos! 🙂 Looking forward to photographing this sweet couple for their second engagement session in May, and then their nuptials in October!
