Since Lindsay & Keith’s I Do’s are to be in the Spring time, it was almost a no-brainer that they wanted to incorporate some gorgeous fall colors for their Lair O The Bear Engagement Session! We chose Lair O The Bear because it’s just a short drive from the Denver area, and it provides some killer scenery.
When they asked me if they could bring their long-haired dachshund, Levi, it was very difficult for me not to scream with excitement. Who am I kidding? Of course I screamed with excitement! Anytime a couple wants to incorporate their fur babies, by answer is, and always will be, YES YES YES! Not to mention, Levi had an integral part in the way Keith proposed. It was a must that Levi be a part of the engagement shoot! (Shout out to Keith’s cousin for all the help with the pup!) Levi came in matching plaid with his mom and dad, and it was absolute perfection! >insert heart-eyed emoji here!<
In regular Colorado fashion
the weather was a little bit of crapshoot. The forecast a week before our shoot said sunny and clear skies. But, Colorado did a classic, “Hold my beer”, to show us just how crazy she could get with a few days notice! The day of our shoot became cloudy, cold, and a little damp. But did that stop us? I think not! I loved working with Lindsay and Keith during their Lair O The Bear engagement session. They embodied a lot of what we stand for. They completely embraced the weather and went with the flow of the evening in such a sweet way. We talked interests, critters, wedding planning, and family.
Lindsay & Keith will be marching into Forever in April at Wedgewood’s Black Forest venue! We are beyond excited to be there for them! Whatever the weather decides to do, we know they’re gonna rock it, and have a blast with their closet friends and family!
